It is a great car to get from point A to point B. It is reliable and has not broken down so far. I have been in one car accident with it, and it survived it substantially. Gas is affordable, and A/C and heater work great. It isn't too big nor is it too small. Backseat space is great and comfortable for all three passengers. Seats are comfortable as well. I dislike the entertainment system because it sometimes doesn't recognize the USB and what is plugged in and what is not. Sometimes the USB connection is poor, causing the music to stop suddenly (if streaming from phone). I like the build overall including the exterior and interior. Insurance payments and monthly payments are affordable. Like the blind spot mirrors it came with because it is very useful. Back window isn't too high or t... (more)
Story
It's not just one memory but many memories I've had with this car and a dog of mine that recently passed away. I'd always take him to the park and drive around town just as a joyride because he loved car rides. I just remember him sitting in the front seat with the windows down.
Pros
One of my favorite features of the car would have to be the blind spot mirrors. They are small but very useful when it comes to making split decisions. I like the USB feature, which allows me to plug in my phone to charge it and use it for phone calls and stream music. Speaking of music, the music system is great. The sound travels really well from the front speakers to the back speakers. I enjoy the amount of space the car has for it being a compact car. Passengers in the front and back have enough room for their legs and their heads don't touch the roof (for the tall passengers). I like ... (more)
Cons
As mentioned earlier, one problem I have with the car is the USB connection. Although I do love this feature, it can get frustrating, especially when I'm driving and all of a sudden the connection cuts off. Or when I am in a hurry, it sometimes says the car cannot recognize my device. I don't like how easily the backseat can get dirty. I have a dog, and when I put him in the back, the backseat absorbs every speck of dirt, and it is really hard to clean. I don't like when the transmission slips here and there, causing me to go back to the dealer or a workshop to have it fixed, which make me... (more)

All in all, the vehicle seems well-made. The only time you hear a sound aside from the typical engine noise is if you are driving with the windows down and one of the rear seat belts is caught in the wind. There's nothing loose in the 'cab' of the car. The stereo is plenty loud and the AUX jack allows me to use my phone hands-free, something essential since in the state where I live using a hand-held device while driving is illegal. It gets good mileage, almost right on the factory ratings, and I've had very little trouble with it.
Story
One of our three kids is homeschooled, so he calls it his "bus to life," as we use it for learning-related field trips from time to time. He enjoys being the "navigator" as he is given two choices of where to go, and then maps out a route, giving me directions as needed along the way.
Pros
The one thing I can say about this car that's been true of the multiple Ford vehicles I've owned/driven is the air conditioning... it CRANKS. This was a selling point to me. Some brands simply don't have A/C units as good as those in a Ford; no idea why. Even on the hottest day, you can start the car, turn on the A/C, and count backwards from 10. By the time you get to 3, it's blowing very cold. Also, I was never a fan of electric ANYTHING until this car; the power windows, mirrors and locks ACTUALLY WORK several years after purchase, unlike in the two other cars I had with these features.... Cons
The transmission is slow to switch between drive and reverse. I found this a problem the first time the car got stuck in snow and I had no help rocking it. You can rock a car yourself to help get free of snow, if it's an automatic by switching back and forth quickly between Drive and Reverse [you can do it in a stick, too, but it's a bit harder sometimes] but there's... a bit of lag in this car doing that. I've always felt like there was a blind spot in the rear left corner of this vehicle, so I have to take a little extra time changing lanes/backing up. The person who made the claim that ... (more)
