I have had my truck since my dad bought it for me when I turned 16. This truck is one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. They have great power, and I personally have had very little problems with a truck that is 20+ years old. I'd say that's pretty good. These trucks are also very customizable. With so many aftermarket products for them, you can really make yours unique. This is also a great truck for hauling trailers and whatever you need. I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone in the market looking for a used truck!
Story
When me and my friends were leaving school one day, and this other buddy of mine thought his truck was faster, but I got the jump on Jim and beat him. I had never raced before, but it was a thrilling experience, but I wouldn't do it again.
Pros
There are a lot of pros to this truck, such as the power, the look and the interior space. There are different body styles as well, so you can have a single cab or extended cab or crew cab. I believe '90s model Chevy trucks are the only ones that did this. The truck handles great when you hauling equipment and trailers. The maintenance has been very easy thus far for me.
Cons
The only cons that I can really think of are fuel economy, which is excepted with an old style American V8. The other con would be since the truck is old the underside has rust, and it can be difficult to unscrew some screws.

My truck is an absolute monster. She's going on 300k miles now and running as strong as the day we bought her. Never once has she left me roadside! The interior has held up fairly well, considering what it's been through. Everything still in tact except passenger inside door handle. Doesn't matter much, the only time anyone sits there it's me, my husband driving and he gets the door for me anyway. I have never owned such a reliable, well-made and bad to the bone truck other than my Chevy! I wouldn't trade her for the world, and if she ever does quit running (God forbid but it would take hell and high water), I'll fill the void with one just like her!
Story
Taking it out to BLM land and climbing! The four-wheel drive kicks on with no issues, and this heavy car climbs.
Pros
Never left me roadside!
