I had a 93 Camaro with the optional 275 horsepower V8 engine. Unfortunately it had an automatic transmission. We painted it black then put older style ss hockey stripes along the fenders into the door. It was also a one year only Z28 with all bare minimum features.
Story
I remember topping it out on the highway with a friend and we got it up to 150 miles per hour.
Pros
Cheap and easy to find. The 6 cylinder models are easiest to find. Both engines get decent gas mileage. I got almost 25 miles per gallon with the v8. Car is pretty light for its size. Only the back half of the car is metal.
Cons
V8 models are hard to find. 6 Speed manual transmission cars are even harder to find. The whole front of the cat is plastic or fiberglass. This makes it not the safest car. If you got hit in the door, you most likely would be severely hurt. The doors are fiberglass so if they got hit, you are screwed.
