1. The Celebrity has six feet and five inches of room in the back seat once you lower the rear seats, allowing you to sleep in the back of the station wagon. 2. The build of the car is very tight. After 18 years, the screws that hold down the travel rack on the roof started to leak when it rained because they were rusted out. 3. Gas mileage was excellent at 22 mpg. 4. I am a homeless veteran that is 6 feet and 2 inches tall. I lived in my car for 5 years and saved $32,000 in monthly rent. ($600 Per month for a one bedroom on the average). 5. The car has cruise control that still worked for the first 18 years.
Story
The only memorable story is that I slept in the car for five years.
Pros
1. Inexpensive to maintain. 2. I could sleep in the car for 5 years and save $32,000 in rent payments. 3. Good gas mileage. 4. Non-descript car-not flashy. 5. Could hold up to 400 pounds of storage items with not problem.
Cons
1. Roof leaked after 18 years of ownership because of rusty roof screws holding the rack on the car. 2. I didn't like the vacuum tubes. Mechanics struggled with them.

I think that the style of the car is very appealing in a somewhat of a gangster and old fashion way. I like the look of the car particularly how smooth from front to back. I like how the car looks and my favorite on a car being black. The car was quite comfortable with deep seated seats and comfortable interior. While the car is spacious in a sense, it only sits 4-5 while it is a 2 door vehicle. The trunk is spacious in comparison. I did not notice any particular blind spots on the car. The car is from time to time, every 5 or so months in the shop for minor tune-ups. The gas cost is medium range in comparison to other cars. I think the maintenance and repair cost is a tad higher than newer cars as the utilities in this car are more older and wore off than those in newer cars. This car... (more)
Story
I do not have any memorable stories I can think of.
Pros
The best thing about this car is its sleek style.
Cons
The major con about this car is its antiquated under the hood parts.

This was my first car as a teenager. It withstood all the abuse a nineteen year old teenager and many friends could dish out. I was able to share it with many users, and we drove it until it died. I believe that if their was not a slight malfunction in the oil gauge and warning light, it would have lasted many more years. I was very sad to turn it over to the junkyard. We had a small ceremony.
Story
We drove it from Philadelphia to Vermont and to Florida on a few occasions, and it took the miles and the many different temperatures and weather types.
Pros
This car had over sixty thousand miles on it when I bought it for a very low price, $500.00 or so. We added another forty some thousand miles to it without a hiccup. The interior stayed strong with only a few tears in the fabric. All the gauges (except the one) worked perfectly until its demise. The car was solid and did not rattle or shake, even though we pushed it quite far on multiple terrains.
Cons
The only con was that the oil light indicator failed which led to the engine block cracking under intense heat. What a sad day!
