The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze is one of the best commuter cars for its money. The LT model (which is the step below their highest trim) comes with leather seats, satellite radio, and a turbo engine as well. In comparison to the more expensive Honda Civic, this has a lot more room and comfort then the Civic. Driving both vehicles, I rather the Cruze then Civic. It's not compact. It has enough room to fit comfortably but not too much room like your driving a boat. If you need a commuter car to get to and from work, this is an awesome car. Dislikes? Let's face it, it's a sedan. It is not fancy, but after upgrading my head lights and blacking out the Chevy bowtie on front and back end of the car, the car as a much better look to it. Why the Chevy bowtie is gold, no idea. Also, my inter... (more)
Story
Honestly, when I upgraded the headlight assembly and blacked out the Chevy bowtie, it made a huge difference in the visual appeal of this car

I bought this car used and I've had no problems with it. It handles great, is fairly quiet, and is easy on the gas. The exterior really stands out from the rest of the cars on the market today. It doesn't look like that Honda or Toyota body, and I really like the contours of the vehicle. The seats are surprisingly comfortable for being cloth and for being a base model. One thing that bothers me about the car is that the LT doesn't come with power adjustable mirrors. It is a little annoying adjusting that passenger-side mirror.
Pros
My favorite part of this vehicle has got to be it's ability to handle. The car clings to the road around corners and I never feel like I'm going to get thrown out the window when I take corners a little fast. Another great thing about is how quiet it is. The car simply just doesn't even sound like its in drive half the time!
Cons
I really dislike how there are no power mirrors on the model I have. It really is annoying changing that passenger-side mirror when I'm driving. The gas mileage on this car is okay at an average of 25 but it's less than my previous cars gas mileage. My old Honda civic got 32 miles to the gallon.
