My vehicle is an amazing piece of machinery that I am proud to drive. The expansive interior makes it easy to spread out not only in the drivers and passenger front seats, but the back seats as well! The trunk of the 2013 Impala LT is huge with room for all of my family's sports equipment, luggage and camping necessities. The strong engine makes this vehicle the complete package. It has the power to get up to highway speeds quickly without the typical jerky movements of family sized cars. To be quite honest, in the two years since purchasing my Impala, the only problem I had was the wait to get the replacement part for a recall on the vehicle. If I could change anything about the car, it would be the exterior color. I would also reconsider the grooves in the gear shift area as it tends... (more)
Story
While trying to get to Mackinaw City, Michigan, we had a full load! We were carrying 2 adults, 2 kids and a service dog in the car. On the outside, it must have looked as though we were moving out! The trunk was stuffed full of camping equipment, a cooler and food. There was a roof rack strapped up top. The icing on the cake was 4 bikes on a trunk rack. We knew we weren't overweight for the ca... (more)
Pros
Interior room and trunk space.
Cons
Nooks and crevices around gear shifter.

The 2012 Impala is an incredible vehicle. It's well balanced between durable and practical. Performance is also a plus. It has a surprising amount of acceleration for a full size sedan. The executive package puts it over the top. The sunroof and spoiler add to the looks of the LT trim. I would highly recommend this car.
Story
When I first bought the car I took it from the dealership and drove on a back road about a mile from my house. At a stop sign I was wondering how the acceleration really was when pushed and do I stomped on the gas and the car actually burned out for a bit. I came home and after looking it up I found that the V6 under the hood is the same engine in the Camaro RS.
Pros
Relatively high performing yet economical V6 Great handling Well built Durable Parts are cheap and easy to find
Cons
Not the flashiest car on the street
