VERY RELIABLE
The car is very economical. I have 3 children and it is good on mileage and has four doors which is very convenient. I have only had to put a new alternator on it since buying, besides regular maintenance of course. The interior is still very nice, seat are comfortable, I do wish there was a third seat belt in the back because I could fit 3 children in the back seat. I guess they were thinking adults in the back when made it and that makes sense I guess.

It's cute and reliable.
The Chevy Metro 2000 is a cute and reliable car. Although no longer being made, it would be a great car for students and seniors alike. Because it has four doors, you can easily put groceries or boxes in the back seat. The rear seats also fold down to allow more room through the trunk for larger items like exercise equipment. The vehicle gets great gas mileage (it's a 4 cylinder) and can go on "empty" for quite a while, although I don't recommend doing that. The seats are bucket style and comfy material. During the summer, you don't have the issue of sticking to the seats as you do with other materials. The back seat is a bit small for three adults to fit into, unless on the slim side. The air conditioning, while still blowing, has been losing Freon, likely due to a leak which may or may not be caused at the manufacturing stage. The trunk is a nice wide space that easily accommodates boxes, equipment and more while the spare tire sits in a well underneath it all. One of the downfalls is the width of the connecting plastic between the front windshield and the side windows. That piece is so large that if you are coming to a stop sign, for example, and the other car to your right is traveling the same speed as you, you may not even see them until you have completely stopped. This is in essence a "blind spot"- so be careful. The car handles well, and has power brakes and steering. Since it's only 4 cylinders, you will understand when it takes some time to get up to speed. Pushing to go faster only uses more fuel. With an airbag on both sides of the front seat, I felt safe driving it in all conditions.

Great fuel economy, sporty ride
The Geo Metro hatchback is a sporty little car that's fun to drive and handles very well. The front seats are comfortable, with good leg room, and the hatchback storage area is capacious for its size. It has solid fuel economy, maintaining about 30 mpg even in city traffic. It's comparatively under-powered, but serves well for city and suburban driving and can do periodic long hauls. A cute car, geared for economy!
