My 2003 Chevrolet Silverado was a very reliable truck and it was also very fun to drive. I liked the fact that it was large in size with the capability to maneuver through nearly any sort of environment. This was especially important to myself because I live in northern Minnesota where during the spring it can be very, very muddy and during the winter there is snow many feet deep. I liked that it always started and had many features, such as cruise control, air conditioning, powered and heated seats, and many more that came standard. The engine also had a ton of power which made the truck that much more fun to drive.
Story
This vehicle was definitely a magnet for girls. Needless to say, I liked to pick up dates in my Silverado because it was a man's vehicle and I felt pretty good about myself driving it around.
Pros
The top positive things about my Silverado truck were the power, reliability, and size. If I were ever to get in to some sort of situation where I had to go through bad terrain, I was almost assured that I could get through it because of the power and four-wheel drive. I also never had any problems with the engine or any other feature, which is in part because I took regular care of it. I also liked the size, especially of the box because I was able to haul a lot of stuff whenever I needed to for myself or for others.
Cons
The biggest con of this truck was the gas mileage and it's size. If someone is looking to save money with their vehicle, this is not the one for that person. It got about twelve miles to the gallon, and with gas at the prices they currently are it was obviously expensive to drive around. Also, although it was great to have a large vehicle for hauling stuff it was kind of a nuisance due to the fact that it was hard to maneuver and park anywhere.
