From the moment I purchased this vehicle for myself I was impressed with the way that it handled. I have difficulty getting in and out of vehicles because of my cerebral palsy and this vehicle was high enough off the ground that it didn't bother me to much. Rather then having to climb out of the vehicle as I did with my old car before this I can easily step in and out of the vehicle with little to no effort. It has performed well in all types of weather and the windshield wipers have performed beyond my expectations.
Story
I would have to say that one of the most memorable stories about this particular vehicle was shortly after I got it. I was in my grandparents front yard washing and waxing it and had to crawl onto the top of the roof to wax it because I was to short to reach it. In the process of doing so my grandmother sprayed me with the garden hose. I think the fact that this event is so funny is why it sta... (more)
Pros
A great feature about this car is the fact that it's headlights provide a wide range of light width. Before I had trouble driving at night in large part due to low beams and a small width of bean light, but with this tracker those two problems have been eliminated. The car itself gets up to speed very quickly for an SUV and it also handles a lot better then my old car in adverse weather conditions and has yet to be stuck in the snow in areas where my car would have.
Cons
I don't like the positioning of the side mirrors on the car as my height makes it difficult to see out of them, but overall they are not half bad. I wish that there were automatic locks in the car and power windows to make unlocking the side passenger doors easier or at least a key hole to unlock them from the outside. I also don't like how the air conditioning and heating process is set up as it can be confusing, but after a while I got used to it.

The Chevrolet Tracker is the first car that I learned how to drive in. It possesses responsive controls and triggers, which are not too sensitive so as to 'startle' the person driving. It is a car that is not too big or too small, making it a perfect car for road trips or carting your friends/family around in. This car has undergone heavy use and cross-country travel over the years and yet has shown little wear and tear. Even after racking up over 100,000 miles, it continues to run from place to place with little problem.
Story
I was able to load up 4 people and their heavy luggage before he shoved off on a cross country trip out of the car. It was awesome!
Pros
This car's controls are simple and easy for a driver that is just learning the ropes. It also offers a comfortable drive for experienced drivers as well. It has a good amount of trunk room and can fit up to four other people within the vehicle. The sound capabilities of the car are fine and in the winter time it is a god send! It's ability to shift to four-wheel drive has saved me several times in the past!
Cons
While this car is simple and friend to the user, it does lack the bells and whistles that most cars do. It does not have a tape-deck but it also does not have an AUX port - so the owner must use a radio transmitter if they want to play music from their mp3 player. It is also a little confusing to shift the vehicle into "cruise control" mode.
