Used Chevrolet Uplander LS for Sale

The Uplander LS (made in 2007) is one of the most family friendly cars on the road today. What made this car particularly eye catching was the vast amount of space between the two middle seats to reach the back. When we test drove our Uplander, those who weren't test driving sat in a family member's van and the stark difference of space was completely obvious. There is more than enough storage space in the back. I was even able to fit a large child's size desk, three children with car seats/boosters and other bags of garage sale items home in one trip. The exterior is pleasing to the eye because it doesn't look like your typical dolphin nosed van, rather the drastic slanted look that vans tend to possess. It is as if a van and SUV had a child and that child was the Uplander. As far as running, when it is in top condition it runs smoothly, definitely not as noisy as our previous car. We have had a few hiccups "health" wise with our Uplander. One being, less than a year after purchase, the head gaskets appeared cracked and caused the temperature to spike and overheat. After the replacement we haven't had too much trouble with that but it's still a minor issue. Another difficulty we have had is the wheel bearings like to wear out quickly (and no we don't go off-roading). The third difficulty we have had is the air compressor gave out. Despite these issues, the van has done us well.

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander LS minivan. I love the captain chairs in the back and the amount of space to move around in the car. The cargo area is large enough for strollers and fits a good amount of groceries. It gets great gas mileage but still has great acceleration. The only thing I dislike is the lack of cup holders in the second row for my children and also how cheap the latches are on the glove box. I also will never buy a dark colored car as mine is dark blue and takes forever to cool down inside in the summer.
