It has great mileage
At first I did not like the car because I did not like the style and the color. I got into an accident so I had to replace the door with another color and it looked horrible. I was embarrassed to drive it anywhere. The car has great mileage and it takes me a to b

My Focus is Reliable
I acquired my Ford Focus (Station Wagon) when my mother could no longer drive and had to sign it over to me. The car has carried me through several winters, and been a trooper through almost everything. The gas mileage is not as good as it likely was when it was new, but it hovers around 20mpg which is fine for my purposes. It continues to run well and gets a tune-up yearly. The car holds a lot of cargo for such a small station wagon, and carries a large metal dog crate in the back cargo area easily with room for boxes on the side. The back seat is roomy enough for passengers and there is plenty of legroom in front. It is an automatic shift, and the transmission runs very smoothly. There are no oil leaks, and maintenance on the brakes has been routine. For an older car, it has done very well. Some cons are the less than durable plastic parts that many cars tend to have these days, and my mother snapped one of the side mirrors off on the side of the garage more easily than it should have been. The tailgate sometimes catches on the latch, and there have been some issues with the fan for the heater, although I think mice moved in and caused backup there. It's been a great little car.
