2006 Ford Focus - This Vehicle Would Have Been Ideal if not for one Major Problem

I liked the fact that this car was small due to the gas mileage and easy maneuvering with parking and such. It was dark blue which suits me and was pretty comfortable in the front. The back was relatively tight in terms of leg room but that did not bother me personally as I was always driving it. It was a two-door hatch-back. The factory sound system was above average for vehicles that came out in 2006. However, I did have a major mechanical problem with it that went unresolved. The problem was after starting and shutting the engine off several times in a relatively short time period the car would rough idle. So when I was running errands this happened several times to me. I would then have to try and get home as quick as possible. When rough idling you have to keep your foot on the ... (more)
Story
I had good times with this car. Nothing unusual. I just have just used it to get to special events with a few friends like the beach or an NFL game. So yes I have good memories involving this car.
Pros
The compact size made the car easy to drive. It also did well with gas mileage since it was a small car and it was 4 cylinder. The sound system was good enough that I did not feel the need to have different speakers put in. The front seats are pretty comfortable. It had some pep even though it was only 4 cylinder.
Cons
The back seat is tight for passengers being that it is a two door car and for people in the front who are average height or tall, they have to put their seat back quite a bit. The rough idling problem I had that apparently could only be found and fixed if I brought it in while it was having the problem was very scary and aggravating. Driving a car when it has that problem is dangerous but when you are living pay check to pay check you can't afford to pull over and have it towed every time.

My vehicle is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It performs beautifully. Sometimes when I am driving I feel as safe as if I were in a tank. It is a standard transmission which I like because I can control how slow or fast I choose to go within the recommended speed limits of course. It has good pick up power. The steering and ride are very smooth. It has a beautiful yellow paint job. The air conditioning is ice cold. The heat is nice and toasty warm. The speaker system is amazing and the sound is great! I have never had a problem with the cd player and can use the radio too with great ease. For added convenience I have automatic locks and windows which have never failed me. There is enough room for up to 5 passengers. It has ample trunk space. The wheels are good. The ride is nic... (more)
Story
I remember driving up to north county with the car on the interstate. I had so much fun shifting into the different gears. I had fun speeding a little and the car ride was really very smooth. The shifting was smooth as well. I had the radio up really loud and had a blast just jamming out, cruising around in the car. Got to my destination very quickly.
Pros
Beautiful paint job. Very visually appealing. Great smooth ride. Automatic doors and windows. Good transmission. Standard transmission. Surround sound. Good speakers. Good sound quality. Cd player and radio. Fast car. Safe car. Holds up to 5 people. Has good storage and trunk space. Power steering. Cold A/C. Warm Heater. Safe if in an accident
Cons
Doesn't have four doors only two. Car itself is a little heavy and feels like driving a tank. If you don't know how to drive stick shift it isn't as fun. Doesn't have Wi-Fi capabilities. Isn't a smart car. Cannot sync with an iPod or other mp3 players. Gets decent but not great mileage. Wouldn't be the first choice for a family vehicle. Gets a little crowded with 5 passengers in it but it does fit that many people. Its a little outdated.
