I bought my 2017 Focus SEL in June of 2017. It's a pretty little car with a sporty feel and solid gas mileage, though it was an adjustment for me coming out of a Fusion. I was pretty happy with my car for a year, then everything went to hell in a handbasket! I took my car in for slipping transmission in June of 2018, they replaced the clutch. I drove it on a 1,000+ mile road trip in June, then again in late July. By September, it was back at the dealership for transmission problems and rough idle. They replaced the clutch again and had the nerve to tell me that the transmission only has problems in hot climates! Guess they think all women are totally ignorant about cars. They also...get this...replaced the bushings on the motor mounts, which they said were the problem with the rough id... (more)
Story
One time I was driving down the road with all the windows down. This was actually right after I did the paperwork. It was a nice sunny day and I felt great. I was on the way to the beach.
Pros
I really liked the color and the fell of seats. They were very comfortable. The favorite feature would probably be the radio.
Cons
The transmission is very easy to break. It's not a comfortable ride.

What I like most about this car is the color. The red is perfect. No a bright red and not a dark red, but a perfect shade of red. The fuel economy is something that amazes me every time I drive. I get anywhere from 37-40 miles a gallon. When I first drove it a far distance, I like that I can see how many miles I have to empty and that the gauge will change based on if you are in the city or on the expressway. This car is the most dependable. It drives so easy and I can get very comfortable in it.
Story
I liked getting on the expressway and hitting the gas. This car has some power behind it that I can drive up to 110 mph.
Pros
My favorite features is the fuel economy and the fact I can sync my phone to the car so I can use hands free to talk on the phone and keep both hands on the wheel. I also like the stereo and the sound quality that comes from the speaker. There are so many buttons in the car to figure out. I like the cruise control and that I can adjust the radio volume from the steering wheel. Due to the fantastic fuel economy, I have actually been able to save in gas money and spend less at the pumps. The tank is 12 gallons so it doesn't take that much to fill it up.
Cons
I don't like the fact that the seats are not powered to move forward and back. I would have thought being a new vehicle it would have the power seats.
