Not worth the price
I had no problems with this vehicle at first, however a few months after purchasing it I noticed the vehicle seemed cheaply made. I do find the carvery stylish however which is partially how I was persuaded to purchase it.

The Great Value of the Ford Focus
I was surprised at the quality of the Ford Focus. The car looks sleek without looking overly small or squished, like many small cars. However, it is a little generic looking. In a lot with many other silver cars mine can totally blend in. The engine is of a good quality; not overly loud, accelerates well, and the transmission shifts smoothly. When in traffic if I have to accelerate quickly to make use of a gap in traffic I know the car can handle it. However, sometimes it can idle a bit heavy. This goes away once it's in gear, though. There's room in the cabin to fit a 6'3" tall person, though at 5'11" my knees have little extra space while in the driver's seat. The console controls are straightforward and expected, although my car lacks some of the more advanced functions like Bluetooth or any on-board "computing". I would recommend an upgrade to the tires. Mine are a very basic brand and type and, especially in non-perfect conditions, the engine can overpower the traction. Overall the car is a great value for the price, and would be more so if some of the optional extras were applied. Would definitely buy a Focus again.

Too many problems.
I am honestly pretty tired of this car and I will certainly be looking for a new one soon. I bought it out of sheer desperation when my last vehicle broke down and was going to cost over $5000 to repair. I did not have much confidence that the car mechanics even found everything wrong with my vehicle so I decided to sell it and get a different car. When I found this car, it seemed like it would be the complete opposite of the vehicle I was getting rid of - it would be something positive for me, much more fuel efficient, inexpensive and a nice little car to drive around but it turned out to be none of that at all. The maintenance costs are beyond insane. I test drove it before purchase and the test drive went very well. I felt I was happy enough with the car and it seemed like it worked very well so I decided to buy it. But right after purchase, I immediately had problems. Just after leaving the dealership, I was going around the freeway exit ramp and then the car literally flew off the side of the freeway (right after I just bought it!). It wasn't me driving badly, it was definitely the car. It felt slippery and like the tires maybe weren't right somehow when I lost control of the car. Luckily, I was OK but given where the car landed, near a deep ravine, it could have been much more dangerous, deadly and definitely worse for both the car and my own life. Apparently there were problems with the suspension and it cost quite a bit to fix. The car has literally been costing me money ever since. That's all this car has done is cost money. I have spent so much repairing this car over and over again and I have really had enough. I will be looking for a new car very soon because of the car problems I am currently having with this vehicle.
