2007 Ford Focus OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

This was a good purchase.
This 2007 ford Focus was purchased as a second car but ended up being used more then my truck. It gets great gas mileage and has enough room for me my wife and our two sons. It has a strong engine that has no problem cruising at 70 on the highway. There is a great factory installed sound system. The heated side view mirrors are great in winter. It has been driven 120,000 miles with only normal wear. It gets about 30 miles per gallon of gas. It would be nice if it had a utility outlet in the back seat for the boys to charge their phones on long trips. After 8 years of using, it is still a solid and dependable car.

All purpose little car.
Our little yellow two door hatchback Ford Focus is absolutely the best. It might look small but it has a lot of room on the inside. You would be amazed at how much it can hold on the inside. You can sit 4 adults comfortably or 2 adults and 3 children in the backseat. The back hatchback is huge - nothing like getting tons of stuff in the back. The gas mileage on the Ford Focus is really a big plus and being a stick shift it has a little bit of zip to get out of other vehicles way. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles that a lot of new cars have because what it does have works great and we've never had a problem with it.

A great runabout or first car
This car is very forgiving. I have owned it for several years, and it has faithfully worked despite me ignoring oil changes and other general maintenance. It's easy to drive, predictable, simple and comfortable for everything I want to do in my day to day driving. The trim is basic, and it has no driver assist technology. But I love that I can load it up with friends or stuff and not worry it will break down or not start. Though it's a small car, four adults and a child can fit comfortably for short to medium journeys. Because it's only three door, the back seat isn't terribly useful for anyone with mobility issues. A problem if like me you are transporting both aging parents somewhere. Getting a frail, tall person out of the back is a challenge. The trunk is large enough for a full shop, but the frequent trips to IKEA I was making recently meant folding the back seats down, just as well then go completely flat and are simplicity itself to put back up, and filling the back with flat-pack boxes. The few times I've needed to get something fixed, the prices are reasonable as it's such a common car and US made.
It's an excellent car to learn how to drive in too. It has great visibility and the controls are easy and intuitive to use.
