Dependable But Rough
I like my truck well enough. It's not too big and not too small. It matches my personality. It has the capability to get work done but sleek enough to have a fun side too. The ride is a little bumpy and the turn radius isn't that great, but it's mine. It's 14 years old and still kicking with (mostly) original parts. It's gotten me to work and back with no problem. There's almost 170k miles on this truck and it's still kicking along. Now I am worried that it's going to give out on me after saying that. I really hope I didn't jinx myself. I'm going to knock on wood. SPEAKING OF WOOD, there is no wood paneling on this truck, which is great. I've been able to help some of my friends move (and lied to others that I couldn't). You know how when you get a truck, you just KNOW everyone is going to come to you with requests to help you move? It's like... all of a sudden, they all come out of the wood work. The plus side to that is there's ALWAYS free beer to be had after helping someone move. So there's another plus.

Go With A Ford
We bought this Ford Ranger because it is an extended cab, which we thought would be the ideal size. Not too large and not too compact. Now that our child is now a teen, we realize we now need a crew cab. This truck has been extremely dependable over the years, with very few problems.
