My vehicle is a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT. It is beige with a black and beige interior. It is fully loaded with power windows and locks, power mirrors, and a CD player. I absolutely love this truck. I will admit that I had doubts about owning a Ford before I acquired this truck, but at the time I needed a vehicle, this one was the only one available to me that I could actually afford, so I had to take it. I am so glad that I did. This Ford Ranger has been the most solid, reliable vehicle that I've ever owned. It is extremely tough! You can tell it was built to last and to withstand a few bumps and bruises, because just recently, someone backed into the front bumper, and it barely left a small, hard to notice little ding, while the other person was left with a big dent in their bumper! The g... (more)
Story
I hauled a grandfather clock in this truck without any problems. Of course I had to strap it down, but it fit and I got it home in this truck without incident!
Pros
The pros about this vehicle? There are so many! First of all, it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I would feel more confident driving this truck across the country than I would feel driving the Honda that I used to have. I love how, no matter how long it's been since it was last driven, now matter how long it's been sitting, it literally starts right up the very second that you turn the key! It's nice to know that I have a dependable and reliable vehicle. I've had absolutely no problems with it at all! The only things that I have done to this vehicle since I have had i... (more)
Cons
Well, to be quite honest, there are not too many cons or negative things that I am able to say about this great truck! But. I suppose, if I absolutely had to think of something and if I were pressed to do so, could come up with a couple of cons. First of all, and quite surprisingly, this truck did not come equipped with cruise control. I was quite disappointed to discover that this truck does not have cruise control, because I do quite a bit of highway driving, and this feature would really come in handy, if it were available. If I had cruise control on this truck, I would use it on a dail... (more)

The main thing I like about this truck is how reliable that it has been. I've driven it 10,000 miles in six months without a single problem. It continues to perform extremely well, even after fourteen years in service. All of the electrical features still work, like the power windows and power locks. I do spend about $50 plus a week on gas, so I wish it got better fuel economy, but other than that, I've been extremely satisfied with this vehicle. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely buy this vehicle again.
Story
It's very tough! If you want a truck that can take a hit, this is the one! A woman who was driving a manual transmission truck was in front of me on the road. She was having trouble shifting and rolled back into my front bumper. Her car got a noticeable dent in her back bumper, but my front bumper barely had a scratch!
Pros
Even though this vehicle is 14 years old, it has held up exceptionally well, and when it's washed and waxed, it looks brand new. It's also been more reliable than a Honda that I used to own.
Cons
There are no negative aspects of this vehicle. If I were hard pressed to pick something, the driver's side door tends to stick closed and needs to be pulled hard to open. Sometimes I worry that I'll break the door handle by pulling it so hard, but that is the only problem I've experienced. I also wish the gas mileage were a little better, but I've been told that what I'm getting, 15-20 miles per gallon, is fairly typical.
