I love this truck. It is the second truck I have ever owned. The first was a Ford F-150. It has over 100,000 miles on it and is still in great working condition. At the time it was purchased, I was in high school and drove it every day. It has taken me to college and on many road trips and is now being used as the main vehicle for my husband. Over the years I have endeavored to keep it well maintained, but it has needed little more than an oil change. At this high mileage, I have only had to repair or replace the fuel line, the oil pan, a fuse or two, and the spark plugs. Not only has this truck been incredibly reliable and functional, it is also very attractive. The paint job is lovely and has not needed any touch ups in 15 years of ownership. The side step on the bed gives ... (more)
Story
I spent an evening riding in this car to Charlotte, NC with three friends. Two sat in the front seats and two sat in the back seats. I was in the back and found the trip to be remarkably comfortable. This same truck was also taken by a group of friends to the drive in where it provided the perfect truck bed for watching the movie.
Pros
Beautiful. Long lasting. High quality. Stands up to wear and tear.
Cons
Back seats are very small. Not appropriate for child safety seats.

For such a small single cab truck, I never had any mechanical issues with it other than the usual tires and oil changes. Some of the upholstery eventually began to wear down, such as seat corners, but at over 240,000 miles, it's not uncommon. The air conditioning was strong and could get freezing cold- great for the hot summer months down south. I would purchase another one if I needed to, as they were fairly decent with gas efficiency at about 17mpg. A stable workhorse for all sorts of occasions.
Story
Squeezing some friends into the tiny rear seats to go to a concert was quite a time. Felt almost like a clown car.
Pros
Sturdy and reliable vehicle overall, though it was a single cab it did have two fold down side-seats in the rear for additional passengers if needed. A lot of overhead space made it feel roomy. It was a standard shift, and allowed me greater control over the vehicle overall. It was also a blast to drive, even if it didn't have a great top speed. Cornering and handling was solid and would grip the road well, and could fit in many tight spaces with ease.
Cons
Some spots on the roof and cab lost paint down to the bare metal over time, so it wasn't the prettiest thing on the road. The tailgate had trouble closing sometimes and you'd have to really slam it to get it to lock into place. There really wasn't much space for people if I were to travel with others- only small people could fit in the rear fold-down seats.
