The Chevy Cruze looks small for someone used to a large sedan. It seats five comfortably and the trunk is much bigger than it looks. It's durable and sturdy and over the course of four years has had no engine issues at all. It is great on gas and is good for long distance trips. Overall, I would recommend this car to anyone. I really enjoy the maneuverability and ease of driving this car and it's what I expect of Chevrolets.
Story
I was able to teach my son and my niece how to drive in this car and we always had a great time with that. It is the reason my car now has a "name" which is Cruzanna (rhymes with Susanna) - teaching how to drive in this car was a breeze.
Pros
My favorite feature is the ease of control and feeling of safety. I feel as safe as if I was in the large sedan I used to own (A Ford Taurus). The fact that long-distance trips save me money on gas is a huge bonus. It feels safe like a big car but handles like a smaller car.
Cons
One of the negative aspects is that there is a considerable blind spot. You have to be aware that it is a bit hard to see when changing lanes. This is not an issue as long as the driver is aware that this is the case and prepares to use extra time and caution when switching lanes. Another negative is that the door will swing back on you so you need to be careful if you are not used to a door that closes so easily.

The Chevy Cruze Eco gets great gas mileage- I've averaged 36 mpg highway, and 31 mpg city. I currently live in Washington, DC but my family lives in Massachusetts, and I love that I can drive the trip one way on one tank of gas. The drive is smooth and relatively quiet. My only complaint is the number of safety recalls there have been for this car- I've had to take it to the dealer twice for the electric thermostat and engine cooling system to be fixed, and there are two outstanding recalls currently that I have to wait to experience before having them fixed.
Story
I live in Washington, DC and the driving and traffic is notoriously bad here. Even so, I still get pretty decent gas mileage, and this car is easy to park in smaller street parking spots.
Pros
The gas mileage is great, smooth ride, easy to handle.
Cons
Too many safety recalls
