Great family van
We bought this Chevy Uplander Van used. It had 18,000 miles on it. We bought it from a dealership who had purchased it from a rental car agency as part of a fleet purchase. It was our first time to buy a vehicle that had previously been used as a rental vehicle. We were able to negotiate to a price where I could pay cash. It was still under warranty. We bought in 2006, so it was one year old. Overall, we have been pleased.

Family Vehicle with lots of room
We purchased the van after having a third child. We needed more seating room without everyone being cramped. I checked out several different vehicles, but nothing could compare to the seating room of the Uplander. The Uplander is comfortable, stylish for a van, and gets great gas mileage. Everyone always assumed looking at it from the front that it was a sport utility vehicle. There is enough room to haul three kids and their friends around. Overall after 80,000 miles and regular maintenance I haven't had any issues. The Uplander came available with a built in child seat which has proven to be handy. It also came with a built in Dvd which has been a very handy item. It keeps the children quiet and entertained while I'm driving. The middle captain chairs and the back bench seat both lay down for more room. I can't count the times that the extra room has came in handy for hauling things I wouldn't normally be able to transport without a truck. Overall it's been a excellent and dependable vehicle.

Smooth
This van is so roomy in the seating area as well as the back/trunk area. I have 4 children and they can fit comfortably next to each other. My husband and I plenty of room in the front. The seating can be folded down or removed in the back to make more room for hauling large items. The seating is not the most comfortable but it could be worse.
Driving this van is so smooth. It's easy to handle. It gets about 16-20 miles per gallon, in which I am satisfied with. We will be using this van for a trip from Oklahoma to Illinois in a few months and I am real excited to see how well it does. Also it has cruise control which I don't think I could ever live without now that I have it.
I like its design in and out of the van. It doesn't have the van look 100%. It sits a little higher, I think, than most vans. Also the front of the van looks tougher, more like a truck. When I go buy another vehicle I hope that I can just get a newer model of this van because so far I love it.
