Lots of room yet not too much.
I have three children and needed to upgrade from my full-size sedan. I went to look at this Chevy Uplander (even though I never wanted a van). I feel in love instantly. It gave me all the room I needed to comfortable transport my family, yet it did not drive like a typical van. It actually drives more like a small SUV. The message board right on the dash is so helpful. It informs me if my one of my tires is low on air, if a door is open, if someone isn't buckled and so much more. This gets rid of trying to troubleshoot what is wrong with the car. The interior is more like a sports car and is sleek and stylish. Although it is a 2008, you can still do all the small servicing yourself. The only complaints I have are the extremely touchy breaks and the lack of space in the very back (for groceries, etc.).

True Love On 4 Wheels
The Chevrolet Uplander is a terrific minivan with a Sports-Utility-Vehicle feel that never should have been discontinued. It gives you the command-view of the road that you're used to in a minivan, with the sleek feel of a newer SUV. The ride is as smooth as glass.
