Decent But Not Great
The Uplander is reliable and safe, however, many things feel apart on the inside. The air condition vents in the back all fell out, the dashboard cracked, the floor on the passenger side gets wet, the DVD player only works when it wants to, the back top brake light broke, and the handle on the inside of the hatch broke off. We have done our best to keep it nice, but it just seems like things keep going wrong. One of the biggest reasons we bought the Uplander was because it had an DVD player in it, but it doesn't always work. The van is small and doesn't have much extra space or have much storage. As a mother of four children we need more space. Everything under the hood seems to work great! We have only had replace or fix small things. I have had friends in the past that have owned and Uplander, and they have not been that impressed with it either. They had the same complaints and me. Many things on the inside fall apart and break!

Never Thought I'd Own A Minivan
I never thought I would own a minivan... until I had kids. My car was just too small to fit my family of four. I love that it has sliding doors on each side so that I can get my kids in with ease. I love that it has third row seating for extra passengers that I may have and I love that it has an excellent air conditioning system. My kids have more space for their growing bodies and I love that we don't feel so cramped anymore. As much as I fought having one, the Chevy Uplander has changed my mind on how I feel about minivans. If you have a growing family I highly recommend it. I can see it fitting our needs through many years to come.
