Worth the cost, if you need the power
The F-250 superduty is an absolute beast. It will break the speed limit up most hills with a trailer behind if you need it to. It's big and heavy, hard to turn/maneuver, but if you're going in a straight line, it pulls its weight and then some. Very few things on this truck ever break, which is good because the parts are all big heavy and expensive. The weight does play hell with the shocks and suspension. You will want to upgrade the shocks. Also, this power means that you will never ever get better than 16 mpg... I wouldn't be surprised if this truck somehow used a gallon of gas rolling down a hill with the motor off. Word to the wise- never attempt to do any work on the interior of this vehicle. It just won't go back together the way it used to be- once the dashboard has been removed, it will rattle very annoyingly forever no matter how many times you try to get it screwed back down tight, and the same goes for the door panels- if you're thinking of putting in a new stereo, have it put in the back, not in the standard places behind those panels or the dash.

Powerful and Dependable
My 2000 ford f250 super duty truck has been one of the most dependable vehicles that I have ever owned. I bought it with over one hundred thirty thousand miles on the odometer and I believe it is just getting worn in. It can handle towing any load I have thrown at it, which at this point has been 10000 lbs from the class V bumper hitch. With its 8ft bed I can fit plenty of building supplies or tools that I will need. The diesel engine makes plenty of power and torque while not being too harsh on the wallet at the pump. I have driven and owned many trucks and this is by far my favorite.
