One tough truck!
As a whole, this is an excellent vehicle. If you need pulling and carrying power or plan to do some off-road navigation and hauling, it can keep up. The interior is roomy, and the seats are highly adjustable, which makes long hauls comfortable. After 14 years, it has had some wear and tear, which has required not infrequent trips to mechanic shops. Some recent issues include: the 4x4 switch on the inside of the vehicle not working and the ball bearings in the wheel wearing down. However, after being used rigorously for 14 years and nearly 100,000 miles, these things are survivable.

Excellence
Approximately nine months ago I purchased a 2005 F-250 Super duty. This truck is a work horse. With 130,000 miles, the diesel engine is barely broken in. I have had no mechanical issues with this truck. The look of the vehicle matches the function. Beautiful. The built in trailer brake control works flawlessly. The leather seats, even after 11 years are in mint condition and have a long life left. The nerf bars that came standard on this Laredo edition make the truck extremely easy to enter/exit in spite of its lifted nature. All of the amenities this vehicle includes (moon roof, trailer brake controllers, heated mirrors, electric seats) work amazingly well and make the truck an awesome multipurpose rig. This year of truck with the 6.0 liter engine is known for having issues with plugged cooling system components. However, we have experienced none of these issues. The back seat is large enough to comfortably seat all three of my children (with room to boot) in car seats. This truck seriously is an amazing all around truck for work, play, and family transportation. Additionally it gets amazing fuel economy for its size (~23 mpg).
