Best, Most Useful Vehicle We Have Ever Owned
We bought this truck from an employer who was taking it out of company service because the miles were getting high. We purchased it in 2008 and it had 95,000 miles. It never had to be repaired. We kept it serviced but never had to take it to the mechanic for repairs even though in 6 1/2 years we ran the odometer up to 226,000 miles. Mostly, it was so dependable because it had the largest diesel engine Ford made in it. Excellent quality motor!
The truck was comfortable, easy to drive, and we always had a way to haul things and help others move.
I would definitely buy this same truck again.

Absolutely love it
I really love the dependability of this truck. It still looks and runs great even after 17 years and 392,000 miles. It has one of the greatest, if not the greatest, diesel engine ever made. This truck has a 7.3 liter turbo diesel engine that has withstood the test of time and still runs great even after all these years. The only downside to this vehicle is the numerous times that I have had to replace front end parts. However, this is to be expected after owning and driving this vehicle for almost 17 years. Although, buying a diesel truck is more expensive than buying a gas powered truck. There is really no feeling like climbing into a lifted diesel truck.

It's durable and rich.
Well, I have the Ford F250 super duty power stroke. The exterior of my truck is white with a plastic white bumper and a chrome bumper. As far as it goes me liking or loving the truck, it will have to do. The transmission went out on it so had to get the tranny rebuilt on...just six months ago. Then, I needed to repair the cables that attached to the batteries replaced because sometimes in mid-drive, the truck would just die. I'm not sure what that did to the engine since it is a diesel engine. You are supposed to wait to start. In the middle of the street, I would have to turn it on right away and not wait to start. The truck came with a stock radio, and the A/C works great! It's impressive the amount of mileage that can be put on this truck, and it keeps on going...that I like. I have the crew cab -- I think it's called. The one that has four doors but you can only open them if the driver or passenger door are open first. I loved that feature until one of the doors broke -- now I have 3/4 of the doors working. I'm not trying to come off as a complainer, but the fuel that truck takes is unbelievable! It's like I get 10 miles to the gallon on this truck. It has new filters and a recent oil change done to it hoping that would increase mileage, but so far, that turned out to bother a pipe dream. The inside plastic trim came off and won't go back on. This is a truck for a person who doesn't mind doing maintenance on their truck every few months.
