88 Mustang.
One of the last true pony cars, my old fox body was one of the best cars I've owned. It had a few minor issues on it, couple of small electrical items that were known issues but cheap fixes. Performance wise it was great, the ability to customize it to your own needs was even better.

The best car I have ever owned
I purchased my Mustang Gt in 1988. I have owned the car for 31 years. I bought the car when I was 22 years old, and although it was very expensive at the time, it turned out to be the best purchase I have ever made in my life. For the first 10 years that I owned it, it was the only vehicle I had and drove it pretty much every day. After that I got a Ford Ranger pickup truck that I would drive whenever the weather was bad as well as in the winter. My Mustang has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It starts every time on the first try, and it has only broken down once the entire time I have owned it. I have had to replace normal wear and tear items over the years (shock absorbers, brakes, struts, starter, etc.), as well as needed to replace other items that simply wore away over time such as the exhaust system, gas tank, etc., but it has just under 200K miles on it, and the engine and transmission are still very strong. I am planning on maintaining and keeping my Mustang for the rest of my life.
