I bought this vehicle back in high school. This was 10 years ago! This has been a very reliable vehicle and has not needed many repairs over the years. Today it has 152k miles and has gotten me through a lot that life had to throw at my over the years. It's a 5 speed and I like this, but I have had to replace the clutch once. The gas mileage isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either. I have to frequently replace spark plugs and have cylinder misfires once every year or so.
Story
When I bought this car back in 2004, I was just learning how to drive a stick. My dad fell in love with it and almost refused to teach me to drive a stick so he could keep driving it. He ended up putting over 10k miles on it before I took over.
Pros
The sound system is great - Mach 1 stereo system. The car runs very well, its pretty smooth, and the suspension is tight. Very fun to drive in the summer on the highway, and has a nice look to it.
Cons
Engine misfires frequently requiring repairs. The gas mileage isn't great, but its not horrible. This car has rear wheel drive and does not have posi-traction, so its absolutely horrific in snow or any weather condition that isn't hot and dry.

Overall, this is a good car that has required me minimal maintenance over the 17 years I've had it, and the body design is beautiful. I think there are better cars out there for the price but would recommend it for someone who must have a convertible.
Story
Many beautiful summer evenings were had cruising around with the top down in the sunset.
Pros
Convertible, comfortable leather seats, runs for a long time with few significant issues or repairs required. Looks beautiful and is a good V6. Handles well and accelerates well. Easy to maintain and access interior components.
Cons
Poor gas mileage (I get about 22mpg on highway), lights are dim even on the brightest setting, and it is very hard to get rid of the oxygenation and staining on the headlights (have to sand or replace). Belt is a serpentine belt, which is somewhat complicated. Only seats five passengers, and the interior is relatively small. The trunk is extremely small. The top has a back window that is glass, not plastic (called back glass). This has shattered on me before; it is much easier to replace plastic. Also, there are no windshield wipers for the back glass. It is always annoying to refuel becau... (more)
