When you think of the Ford Mustang, you think bang-for-your-buck power. With 305 hp in the V6 model, you have one fun ride for a fraction of the costs of other comparable vehicles. If you have a bit of more cash on you, you might opt for the GT but if you find yourself just commuting in the city, it is better to save a few bucks. The V6 Mustang has an EPA estimated MPG of up to 19 city and 31 highway. Although it is not a hybrid-level MPG, it is very good comparable to the Camaro or the Challenger. The interior of the car have been revamped from the previous year. I opted for the chrome-styling and the leather seats which were very comfortable. The convertible model is also very fun as Ford have redesigned the hood to be able to lower at a push of a button, even when driving. The on... (more)
Story
Driving with the hood down at sunset on an open, dirt road.
Pros
- 305Hp - Rear-wheel drive - Good price for what you get - Interior is much better and more comfortable than before - Convertible is fun - The looks is very aggressive and stylish - MPG is good compared to other cars in it's class
Cons
- Small back seat space - Small trunk space - Ride can be a bit too firm - Handling is not smooth

I purchased a 2011 Ford Mustang GT. It was the first year that the 5.0 liter engine was available and it certainly makes the car very fun to drive. I have had the car for five years now and have not had any mechanical problems with it at all. The service team at my local Ford dealership have done an excellent job maintaining the car for me. I mostly use the car for joy-riding around and just have to be careful about the speed limit since it is easy to go above the limit.
Story
I really enjoyed joy-riding in the Shenandoah Valley, with the turns around the mountain mixed in with some straight runs.
Pros
This car has a wonderfully designed body, offers great acceleration even at high speeds, has good steering, and is very dependable. It is so much fun to drive that I sometimes end up joy-riding around in it even though I was running errands initially.
Cons
There aren't too many cons with this car. So if I have to name a few I would start with fuel economy. It gets great fuel economy for a muscle car, but it's still a muscle car so it's not great compared to an economy car. I can get 30 miles to the gallon if I put on cruise control and don't get any traffic. Also, the passenger side seat adjuster handle came off recently. Luckily, the Ford dealership fixed it at no cost to me.
