The 2005 Mustang is one of the best purchases I have made. The body was a remodel of the older Mustangs that really brought back the feel of the older vehicles with the new mechanics. I felt that the new Mustang´s mechanical specifics were just as good of quality as the older models and the look of the vehicle outweighed the price. The interior could have been made to look a bit nicer as the plastic was molded well, but the look came out kind of cheap. I purchased the car with 7 miles on it as a dealer model. I have driven this vehicle across the country four times with no problems (with regular maintenance). In the past year the only problem is that I have been involved in two accidents (both others fault) and have had the vehicle fixed with no problems.
Story
Driving cross country in the 2005 Mustang was surprisingly comfortable. The bucket seats are very cushy and the adjustability of the firmness was a lot of help on those overnighters.
Pros
The horsepower is amazing, and the air conditioner still blows as cold as ice even when the mechanic has said my freon was almost empty. The battery life (in the Texas desert) is great.
Cons
I have noticed that the added weight to the front end has caused me to hydroplane once or twice (when I was not diligent to get my tires replaced). Other than that no problems..

My vehicle is a 2005 Ford Mustang which is a V-6 coupe. I had bought it about ten years ago brand new and it is still running today. It has over 300,000 miles on it and runs great except for the routine maintenance that it needs from time to time. The maintenance fees are reasonable except for the tires which cost me over $400.00 for four of them and I have to buy them every couple of years. The style of the car is nice and my interior is leather, but due to wear and tear and the summer heat in Louisiana, the leather seats are cracking now. The car is not very comfortable on the inside because it has leather seats and it is small in the front of the car. The back seat and the trunk is very spacious and the car seats a total of four people. I feel that the car is safe but I have to be c... (more)
Story
I had went on a vacation with my family with this vehicle to Tennessee a few times and we had fun in it. We had traveled quite a few times with this vehicle and it was very reliable and safe for the trips.
Pros
I feel that the car has a lot of speed and will get you to where you need to get to fast. I also feel that the car is very nice on the outside.
Cons
Some of the negative things about the car is that it doesn't give good gas mileage because the gas goes out fast. I also have leather seats in the car which are cracked due to the summer heat and when you sit on them on hot days, then you will burn your skin. The front of the car is also too small for your legs and it is kind of cramped except for the backseats.
