2003 Chevrolet Blazer OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

My 2003 Chevy Blazer has served me well for 12 years. I bought her used (one owner) in 2005 when she only had 30,000 miles on her. Since then, the only major issues I've had have been with the starter and having had to replace the water pump twice. Now, she has about 130,000 miles. She runs great and still looks good. The interior is pretty cheap, but has held up well over the years. She starts every time and uses no oil. With a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder, she is no speed demons and steep inclines can be challenging. Gas mileage is decent (around 22 miles/gallon on the highway). The back seat is fairly roomy and she can hold four to five adults comfortably. By today's standards, her styling is a little dated, but I still think she's sexy. She came standard with a CD player which is a major plus in my book. She has no USB ports, but that wasn't common in 2003. Cost of ownership has been pretty low - mostly just basic maintenance with no major issues. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the purchase. She always gets me home and has never left me stranded.
P.S. She will hold a 11 foot kayak on her roof.

Good-looking car that has been a thorn in my side since I bought it.
When I first bought this car, I liked the way that it looked. It was very clean and taken care of though it's age. It somewhat matched me as a person. It was sporty and smaller than what I've been used to (vans, SUVs...etc.) I was happy that it had new tires on it, it had an awesome audio entertainment device, and I felt that I could weave in and out of traffic easily with it.

Perfect Size Super Reliable
The Blazer is my first car and I've been driving it for 10 years. I still love it as much as the day I bought it. It has over 100,000 miles but still only needs minor repairs from time to time. The seats are exceedingly comfortable. I love the black interior (good for a messy eater like me). The back seat isn't small and the seats fully fold down, giving me enough room to move out of about 5 apartments now. The interior and exterior style are sporty and no one ever expects that I'm a girl when I roll up next to them at a stop. My complaint about the interior is that its all plastic. My dad broke the door panel with his knee about a year in, and you can't have it replaced. Same goes with the dashboard. I have a crack caused by the sun and the cheap plastic. But everything is so conveniently located from the driver's seat, unlike those new SUV's with weird cupholder placement. It sucks on gas, but its not too heavy to really make it an issue. Its been a really reliable car!
