I loved my Silverado, it was an awesome truck. I didn't have any major problems with it, it was always running very well. I put well over 200,000 miles on it and never had to do any major repairs. The inside held up very well over the years and so did the point job. The one thing that I loved was that the Resell market was so good. I was able to sell my Silverado for a good amount of money even after driving it and using it for so long. Overall I have nothing but great things to say about the Silverado and would recommend it everyone.
Story
I was at the beach one day and this huge lifted truck got stuck in the sand. I was able to pull it out when my truck looked a fraction of the size, it was an awesome felling.
Pros
I loved how durable it was and how I never had any problems. I loved that it always had parts available and mechanics were always very knowledgeable when it came to the truck. I also loved the re sell value. I loved how big the cab was and well it looked inside and how well it stood against the text of time. I loved that the paint job never faded and always looked great.
Cons
There isn't any real knocks on the truck. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like it would be the mileage. It didn't get the greatest gas mileage.

2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 - Decent truck, just old.

I like this truck because it's a decent performer. It's AWD, which is great for my northern climate. It's also got decent plowing power. I mean that literally - we use it for snowplowing in the winter. Unfortunately, because we use it to plow and it's a work truck, it's broken down more than average. It's also quite old by now, and it seems like there's always something else that we need to fix on it. The cab is roomy enough for a small family to take a short trip. The bed is a nice size, but the tailgate is falling off. I've heard a lot of other Chevy owners complain about the tailgate having to be soldered. Overall, it's not a bad truck, though it's definitely time to replace it. I'll go with another Chevy for my next truck.
Story
It's sometimes fun pushing snow around with the plow. Since it's primarily a work truck, I can't think of any other fun memories that might apply to it. Drinking coffee in it on a lunch break is enjoyable I suppose.
Pros
The towing capacity is pretty decent. It's a nice size for a truck.
Cons
Since it's an older truck, it also lacks a lot of modern conveniences. It doesn't have power windows. The seats are fairly uncomfortable, especially for longer trips. The heater is busted. The AC doesn't work either. The fuel economy sucks, but that's to be expected with a pickup truck.
