VERY WELL MADE CAR FOR A SMALLER CAR. LOVE TO DRIVE THIS CAR. ITS VERY EASY TO HANDLE. CURVES ARE NO PROBLEM FOR THIS CAR IT MOVES AROUND CORNERS WITH SUCH EASE. HANDLES VERY WELL IN DIFFERENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. FOR A SMALLER CAR IT HANLES ICE AND SNOW GREAT. GAS MILAGE IS WONDERFUL. IN TOWN DRIVING IS 35-36 MPG AND ONTHE ROAD 40-43 MPG. THATS THE BEST PART OF HAVING THIS CAR.
Story
I CANT THINK OF ANY. I GET LOTS OF LOOKS DRIVING AROUND, MY SPARK IS A NEON GREEN!
Pros
GREAT GAS MILEAGE!. VERY INEXPENSIVE TO RUN AS FAR AS MAINTANIANCE ISSUEA JUST KEEP THE OIL CHANGED AS ADVISED AND NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.. ITS A VERYCUTELOOKING SMALLER CAR. AS FAR AS SAFETY,IT WAS VOTED #1. HAS SECERAL AIR BAGS. ITS A VERY SOLID CAR.
Cons
VERY SMALL. HAS NO TRUNK AREA.. IT HANDLES OKAY IN HEAVY WINDS, BUT YOU CAN FEEL THE GUSTS.

2013 Chevrolet Spark - Fuel efficient, reliable, low maintenance treasure.

I have had my Spark for almost five years now. In that time, I have put 119,000 miles on it with two drive-heavy jobs and trips to nearby states regularly. Her fuel economy remains awesome. I can go approx. 300 miles on one 8–9 gallon tank of gas, even more if it's at least 70% highway driving. I've only had to replace the brake pads twice and the rotors once. I found out, as I neared 70,000 miles, that my car actually has a timing chain instead of a belt, so it never needs to be replaced. I did have issues of burning oil in the early years, but that was fixed with a recall, and I've not had a problem since. She has ample space in the back seat for two 6 ft. passengers, due to the cars height. The only two things wearing down internally after 100,000+ miles seem to be the drivers side ... (more)
Story
I live in New England, so we get snow and ice yearly. But my little car takes it like a champ. I was delivering food during a snow storm once, and on the way back from a customer's home, I decided to go down the same hill I'd had a very hard time getting up. This was a mistake because the hill was so steep and slick with snow that I lost complete control and twirled straight down it into anoth... (more)
Pros
I love the interior height. There's more leg and head room than you realize. I love its continued fuel economy and low maintenance. I've also always loved that the front interior of the car has accents that match the outside color of the car.
Cons
The number one con is that the seat belts are tight and can not be further adjusted to not apply constant press to the shoulder. Being a 25,000 mile a year driver, means my left shoulder noticed the constant pressure, and it is my biggest complaint. The car does not seat five, only four. There is no middle cushion and no middle seat belt. This was to provide more comfort for the two back seat passengers and a drink holder, but it is a downside when trying to transport friends, even for a short distance. And the last big con, aside from the obvious tiny trunk space, is that the back bumper ... (more)
