2014 Chevrolet Spark - Amazing sales experience
Purchasing my Chevrolet Spark from Strickland Chevrolet was a very positive experience. The financing process went smooth and was pretty quick. The salesman was very courteous, listened to my needs, and based on those needs a decision was made. I look forward to continuing working with Abraham and the Strickland dealership. Hopefully this type of service will continue when I visit the services, parts, and other departments.

2014 Chevrolet Spark - Good car for the city
I generally like small cars, so I found that the Chevrolet Spark was a great body style for me. It's compact and is easy to navigate in the tight spaces of an urban area. It has a very tight turning radius making it easy to get out of a tight parking spot, or making turns on very busy streets. The exterior isn't hip or trendy, like a Fiat or Smart car, but I care more about going from point A to point B than looking "cute." As a large man, the inside of the cabin feels roomy despite the small size of the car, and accessibility of controls felt natural to me. The infotainment system is fairly straight forward, and I like the Bluetooth connectivity to my iPhone (though it doesn't work quite right with Android). The infotainment system is fairly straight forward, and I like the Bluetooth connectivity to my iPhone (though it doesn't work quite right with Android). The air conditioning, a must in the South, works adequately, although it doesn't work great if the car is idling for too long. I found the listed gas mileage of 32 city/39 highway to be fairly accurate, although I have not had the opportunity to truly vouch for the highway mileage. While my model does have great cruise control, the Spark is not really designed for long distance travel (though it's possible) or heavy use on freeways because the engine performance is not very strong (84 hp!). Because of that, you can't run the air conditioner and try to accelerate very fast from 0 if you're trying to turn quickly onto a road. And while the back seats are foldable, it's awkward because the seats will not fold down all the way unless the front seats are pushed up a LOT. For a guy with long legs, it's REALLY uncomfortable to even try, and the other awkward thing is that you have to lift the back seat cushions up and over. As with other small cars made by Chevrolet (I had an Aveo before this car), the windows will fog up very quickly in the morning, so treating it with anti-fog solution for interior auto glass is necessary. For the price, though, it can't be beat and it serves my needs as I primarily travel only on city streets and not for long distances. And for a lower priced car, it doesn't feel flimsy or "cheap."
One day our office went out to a baseball game. Not everybody drove into work that day (some people took the bus or train), but I drove my Spark in. I warned folks that the car was small, but everyone piled in, and with five people in one small car, some of our coworkers laughed at us when we drove off. (I believe they laughed and called it 'the clown car.') When we got to the stadium's parking lot, though, the tables were turned -- they were driving SUVs and couldn't find spaces to park. My little Spark fit in snugly into a space, and the five of us got inside before the rest of them. They had to park more than a mile away!
I found the tight turning radius, maneuverability, inside cabin space and infotainment system to be great, as well as the gas mileage.

The car's horsepower is somewhat lacking, and the seats fold down awkwardly.
