2016 Chevrolet Spark - It's a good little car

I am a working mother whose husband is in prison and can't help us with money. I make a very low income, just over $1100 a month. I desperately needed a new car. My old car, a Toyota 4-Runner was 19 years old and falling apart. It was a good car, but had given me all it could. I needed a new car on a budget. The Spark was perfect for me. I took my tax refund and my GM discount I get through my father, and got a new car. It is a small car, which is great for gas mileage, and it's really cute to look at. I like it, I don't love it like I loved my 4-Runner. It is functional. It is cheap to fuel. It is cheap to maintenance. It is really easy to drive since it's so small. I would make this purchase again.
Pros
The best thing about this cute car is its cost. A new car for under $15,000.00 is great. I love the way it looks. It's a really cute car. The colors it comes in are different and unusual, and I like that. The gas mileage is the next best thing. I can fill it up for under $15. I like that it's easy to drive, park, and get through tight spots. And, when the time comes, the tires will be cheap to replace.
Cons
I can really tell the difference in this car and my last one. The 4-Runner is a much better built car. It felt more sturdy, and I felt safe in it. The Spark feels cheaper and not as safe. The trunk space is tiny. The A/C doesn't cool as well as my last car, and in the deep south, that's important. Other than that, I really like my new car.

2016 Chevrolet Spark - Decent ride for the price.

I love how small and compact the car is. The Chevrolet Spark really pulls out all the stops for price value. I like that it has 4 doors and a pretty decent-sized hatch back. It's really easy to store groceries or emergency car stuff stashed away. I don't like that the back seat doesn't fit three, but I guess that is what you get when you buy a car as small as this one. The back seat cup holder leaves a little to be desired.
Story
This car has fit in very small parking spaces. It helps a lot when eating out where there is no parking.
Pros
I like that it has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. That makes it real easy to customize my experience to my other smart accessories based on my own devices. I like the look of the interior and how comfortable the seats are. I like the safety features, airbags, and towing options. The lower gear for hill assistance is also nice in my neighborhood with steep hills.
Cons
I don't like the manual locks in the base model. It was thousands of dollars for the step up vehicle, and it seems a little pedantic for a base model in 2017. The hatch door also requires to be unlocked with a key. There is no interior lever to release the door for someone outside of the vehicle. It's fine if you are the only person using the car, but if you have a significant other or kids, this is very tedious.
