Frustrating and unpredictable
I have a love/hate relationship with this vehicle. When everything is working, it is great. However, that is usually seldom and far between. It has a really smooth ride. It is also very spacious and suitable for families with children. There is a lot of rear cargo space and the back seats easily fold down. I love the sun roof which you normally don't see in older SUVs like these. One interesting "nugget" to provide about this vehicle is that it has a voice recorder in the rear-view mirror - I can remind myself what I need to buy at the grocery store or what new song I just heard that I need to go home and download! However, we have had multiple ongoing problems. First, the vehicle would not hold a battery and we could not figure out why. We bought several new batteries, different sizes, different brands but every time I cranked the car I had to use a jumpbox to get it started. We finally figured out that we needed to replace the entire dash but now it is fixed. The check engine light stays on constantly even though everything is fine. It seems like we are having to constantly put in oil even though it doesn't seem to be leaking out anywhere. We also had to replace the motor due to problems with the oil and the engine overheating. We also seem to have problems with the controls for the heat and air - even though you are trying different settings, no changes can be felt.

From A to B then all the way to Z
My Chevy Trailblazer is the best and most reliable used vehicle I have ever purchased. I've had this vehicle for over 4 yrs, and the only thing major that has went out is the fuel pump. One of the best features to me is the electronic transmission controls. I can easily switch from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive. There's nothing I can really say that I dislike about this vehicle, honestly. Also after I purchased it I decided to look online at what the original price for my vehicle was coming straight off the lot, and felt good when I seen what it was going for.
