Our Expedition has been very reliable. It has over 200,000 miles on the original engine and is running pretty well. It is lacking in horse power but given how many miles it has it still runs great. We have rarely had to fix anything and they have all been minor fixes, like the four-wheel drive and new brake pads. I really like the steering and suspension. The steering is tight and very responsive. I also like the length of the Expedition. It is short enough that you can drive around in tight places without a problem and long enough to be comfortable and not too squishy.
Story
We drive up on the mountain to watch the mule deer during hunting season and we can take our Expedition just about anywhere. It climbs hills and drives through mud holes without getting stuck. It is a fun recreational vehicle as well.
Pros
The Expedition is very comfortable to ride in. It is has plenty of room for multiple people and rides really smooth. I like the interior design and my all-time favorite feature is the single flip down seat in the second row passenger side. It makes it really easy for people to get to the third row when you can lay that seat all the way down.
Cons
My only complaint would be the lack of space behind the third row of seats. There is not enough room to put much of anything in the very back. When we go on trips our kids have to place their bags under their feet because there just isn't room to store them behind the back seat. It would be nice if there was about a foot of space behind the back seat, then there would be room enough to store bags and groceries and things.

1997 Ford Expedition - Thought it was great at first, but now I don't care to much for it.

The vehicle is a huge SUV. There is so much room, which is why we purchased it. We needed the space since we have four kids. There was always enough room for them their friends and everything we were traveling with.
Story
Taking trips to moms when the boys were younger. They were so happy, and they were able to spread out. They were able to sleep easily on such a long ride.
Pros
Plenty of room. A/C works amazing. The SUV sits way high up off the ground so you can see traffic far ahead. Plenty of leg room. Plenty of widows.
Cons
This car has become a gas guzzler. Premium gas helps but you burn through it so fast. It burns oil like crazy. I don't know where all that oil goes, but I keep putting it in there. Has to run on premium gasoline or else it sounds like you stuck a fork in the garbage disposal when trying to accelerate. The color is ugly. I have had to replace just about everything on it except the engine. The back window no longer stays up.
