I love my truck. It is very roomy. Good for family. It always had extra seats. It's a great truck to take on a vacation. She went to FL three times and back. That's over 1,000 miles each way. She has done well. I would never trader her. When she does kick the bucket, I want another Expedition. I have 240,000 miles on her. She had a tick when I bought her four years ago, but she still runs. I laugh when people tell me I need an oil change or my motor is about to blow up from the ticking. I tell them, "I've had it since I bought it and she has never let me down." I don't know if I'm just lucky to get a good car or if Ford makes great cars.
Story
I ran out of gas. My mom and I had a good laugh until we got gas in her. I thought I had enough to make it to the gas station, but I was wrong. She went up the hill and I could feel it giving out. I just had to push her a little more to get her up the hill. Once I was up, we would have made it because it could coast. Well, we didn't make it. I over judged and she didn't have enough in her to... (more)
Pros
The truck is roomy and comfortable. I'm able to relax when driving. I feel very safe. I like the body style, the color blue, cruise control. It feels like a very luxurious car.
Cons
She is a gas hog. When gas is a normal amount of money, it is not that bad. But, when it was close to four dollars, $20 would give me less than a half tank of gas. It was a lot to fill, but I did get almost 400 miles on a tank of gas.

I loved this car it fit me like a glove. I did not know how much I would like this SUV when I first got it. I bought it out of necessity because my street kept getting flooded in and I could not get out to go to work or anywhere else for days and once for two weeks. It had great ground clearance with twenty inch wheels and plenty of power from a large eight cylinder engine. The leather interior was also a luxury I had never experience before. All in all this was my favorite vehicle ever to drive and I felt superior when sitting up high above most of the traffic with a great view.
Story
The first day I brought it to work there was another coworker who had bought the same model and year in a different color. They had gotten there first so I waited to the end of the shift and then told them not to get into my car by mistake. When I got outside they were looking at my Expedition and comparing to theirs. It was a good laugh for both of us.
Pros
The luxury package was a great deal. The leather interior and matching leather covered steering wheel gave it a high class experience with superior comfort. The twenty inch wheels gave it a high stance and the sound system had concert like quality. The high performance engine had enough power for all driving situations especially passing.
Cons
There were very few negatives with this vehicle. It is a bit of a gas hog and only got ten miles per gallon at best in city driving and eighteen on the highway if I drove conservatively. The only other drawback was that it had a rather large turning diameter.
