No more Ford.
When I initially purchased the SUV, it was an exciting moment. The SUV was beautiful and ran wonderfully. The Triton V8 had all the power one would need and then some. There was so much power that the two-and-a-half ton SUV felt like nothing whenever I would accelerate. At the time it had all the features one would need or expect. Nothing too fancy like the features you would get now but still up to par and current with the latest technology for that period. I loved the way the truck looked and felt. It was black with full leather seats, ridiculous amount of room, and very convenient for traveling with a large family. The only negative feature at that time was the third seat that didn't fold into the floor. Instead, it had to be removed, and the seat was not light. Altogether, I was satisfied with my purchase at the time. I used it for many road trips, and it was my primary vehicle for regular travel. Another issue I had was with its fuel consumption. That thing was a gas hog. If I recall correctly it used 13 to 18 mpg which is nothing and very expensive when refueling.

I wish I'd purchased a Chevy
I have had almost constant issues with this vehicle. It's in the shop at least once every three months. I've kept up with the maintenance, and it still always has something wrong with it. It drinks so much gas that it's almost cost prohibitive just to drive it anywhere. It drives extremely slow and has very little power behind it. It has issues towing a small trailer with a four wheeler on it. It's supposed to be four-wheel drive. The very back seats are extremely small and my elementary aged boys have a hard time getting back there. My teenager can't get back there at all. I have used high dollar leather cleaner and conditioner on the upholstery since we bought it and the seats still have rips and cracks in them. The handles on the back doors have stopped working to open the doors five times now, and each time I take it in to get it repaired, they exclaim how unusual it is for this to happen, even though I know others who have been having the same issue repeatedly. The transmission has been replaced twice, and there is only 100,000 miles on this thing. I purchased it with 20k. I really wish that I had bought a Chevy. I will never buy another Ford SUV.
