This vehicle is pretty good overall. One was more power without having to upgrade to the eco boost. One thing my wife loves is the massage feature. I love how bright the headlights are being led. Seating capacity is really nice and the back rows fold electronically. Nice touchscreen. I like that it supports Android auto. I like the safety of the Explorer, knowing this I'm confident with taking my family anywhere we need to go, road trips or just to drive around. We luckily got this on sale, but the normal price of the limited can be steep for a lot of people, or even out of reach. Which isn't good since you only get the nice safety features at this price point.
Story
We went on a road trip to New Mexico with our dogs; they had plenty of room. It was comfortable for the long trip.
Pros
Nice turning radius. Led headlights are very clean and bright. Rear seats electronically fold. Headed and cooled seats. Pretty nice sound system. Pretty good seating room and capacity. Nice touchscreen. I like that it supports Android auto.
Cons
Poor mpg. Steering wheel makes weird noise. Wife doesn't like that the moon roof doesn't open across the top. Blind spot monitor doesn't make a sound or vibrate when you're close. Sync 3 voice recognition sucks so much.

2017 Ford Explorer - Reliable sport utility for the family.

The Ford explorer has plenty of room for my family of 5. The kids have 2 rows of seating in the back and enough trunk space for groceries or suitcases. The front of the car is spacious enough for my wife and I and has all the accessories we need to be comfortable. The leather is easily cleaned after we've made a huge mess and continues to feel like a new car after months of heavy, daily use.
Story
In a huge snowstorm I found myself commuting home through a foot of snow and the vehicle made the trip without fail.
Pros
Automatic start and heated seats make winter months more enjoyable for morning commutes. The vehicle is extremely reliable in poor weather conditions. Snow, rain, wind, fog, at no time do I feel my families safety is in jeopardy. Foldable seats creates adequate space to transport large items or when in need a space to sleep for a few hours.
Cons
The audio system feels outdated. Touch screen is slow and sometimes not responsive and there are constant issues syncing over Bluetooth to a mobile device. The Sirius radio subscription the car came with really isn't worth renewing.
