Still running perfectly at 220,000+ miles
It's a good little truck for what it is. It's dependable and safe. It's still running well with over 220,000 miles. Great for people that want a daily-driver they can occasionally take off-road.

Simple, no frills, not reliable
I purchased this vehicle from an online site. I was in need of a pickup truck and the price seemed right at the time. The pictures online showed the truck as clean and well cared for. I like that I was a pickup truck. I like that it had air conditioning. I like that it was only a 4 cylinder, which I was hoping would save on gas mileage. I purchased the car used, so I had little to go on for the history of maintenance. Needless to say I bought someone else's problems. Not long after I purchased the car I ran into all sorts of problems. The most vexing issue was with intermittent starts. I had the car looked at by several services shops including a dealer. No one could seem to find anything wrong with the car. It took repeated trips to service shop and many needless repairs before we discovered it was in issue with the starter coils. After the electrical issues with this car the transmission blew, which was a very expense repair. This truck replaced a foreign car I was driving and crashed. I can honestly say there is a huge difference in quality of vehicle's between American made and foreign made cars. Since I've ran into all these issues with the car I've been a bit sour. I have about as much money into repairs as I paid for the car. So it's hard for me to recommend this vehicle to someone else unless they are handy and can fix all the issues themselves.
