This vehicle is a blast to drive. It's also technologically advanced with up to date features like rear camera, front collision warning, park assist, heated seats, etc. It gets phenomenal mileage overall, considering the first 40+ miles are all electric. It's also surprisingly powerful and fast.

My 2013 Volt is the perfect car for my lifestyle. I have a 35 mile one-way trip to work, and I am able to make it completely on electricity and then charge at work and get home completely on electricity, as well. I go to the gas station once every six weeks. In addition, because the gas engine is only used occasionally, I only have to get oil changes about once per year. The ride is extremely smooth and quiet, and the acceleration from zero is instant. It has a finish like a quality car because of its initial price point of almost $40k. However, the used market on these cars is great b/c I picked mine up for only $15k with only 45k miles. Two minor drawbacks are the lack of a sunroof in any model and the cramped cabin. My kids are toddlers and I am only 5'9", but they still don't have much room to climb into their car seats.
