I purchased this 2015 Chrysler 200S from a dealer in Columbia. I have owned Chrysler products before and have been very dissatisfied. However, I have owned this automobile for a year now, and I actually have to say I like it. It is not the most astounding quality, but these days, what vehicle is under $30K. I was very surprised at the sporty new design. It is much similar to a Hyundai Sonata which I had prior but comparably much better.
Story
Hmm. We ride around town with the radio cranked up, and surprisingly for a Chrysler, it has a nice system.
Pros
The most positive things about this vehicle is the gas mileage. I am honestly thoroughly impressed. I get 28-33 mpg in city and 37+ on highway. I was not expecting that at all from a Chrysler. It's also very sporty looking, and what once was what I would call your grandmas car is a sharp comparison to the Hyundai Sonata or the Kia Optima for a lesser price. This car also has the new style of transmission that many models are coming out with instead of our old traditional transmissions. It has a nine speed, so it takes a while to learn to navigate the transmission or it will jerk you ... (more)
Cons
There are only two cons that I have about this car and really they are more of a personal choice and cosmetic. The knob that controls the headlight is in a terrible place. If I could rip it out, I would. It is right where your knee exits the vehicle. I hit it and turn the headlights on every time, and it hurts and will cause bruising if you're not careful. The other thing I hate is this car has a hump in the back floor board. In other words, the third passenger really has no where for their feet. I also hate the rounded knob for the drive column. It is cute but unrealistic. It resemb... (more)

The Volt is a versatile plugin hybrid with an EV range of 50+ miles...if your weather is warm enough to need minimal to no heating or defrosting and not hot enough to need the A/C chilling the car. Drivers have no fear if youÕre traveling farther before you can plug it in because it also has a gas range extending engine that gets decent hybrid mileage in the 40 mpg range. It has instant acceleration off the line, and in Premiere trim, is optionally equipped with laudable safety features such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, parking assist, emergency front collision detection braking and forward collision alert along with lane keeping and adaptive cruise control.
Story
ItÕs fun to take off from a full stop and see the cars recede in your rear view mirror albeit uses more of your EV range to indulge this urge.
Pros
The versatility of driving around town without using any gas is awesome--along with the flexibility to travel farther and use the backup gasoline power train without worrying youÕll go beyond the electric range before it can be plugged in again. Acceleration is peppy and smooth off the line, and you can drive in L to maximize regen braking and nearly accomplish one pedal driving in that mode. The center touchscreen is intuitive with audio, phone pairing, optional NAV system and battery range and status data clearly displayed. A separate EV battery gauge and gas gauge are easily viewable ab... (more)
Cons
The rear seat head and legroom is tight. Of special negative note is the center rear seating position perched atop the battery tunnel and center console, rendering it extra cramped. The center spot is very useless for anyone except perhaps a petite adult or for a childÕs car safety seat which may not even prove compatible with the center hump and limited space.
