The 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche that I bought is a very reliable truck. Its size, style, and capability made it a fantastic purchase, even if the size of it made it a little hard to park. It is a shame that Chevrolet will no longer be producing it.
Story
Last year, my friends and I camped out in the truck bed and on top of the truck to watch the stars come out and see the fireworks on New Years Eve. We were back there with snacks and had the radio on until the New Year came. I swear that truck was humming along.
Pros
Its size and structure makes it steady and durable, as well as very safe on and off the road, both for driving and in case of accidents. It has a nice load capacity in the truck bed - big and deep, so anything fit and I did not have to worry about anything falling over the sides. It had a sleek look despite being very large, and the four-door interior was great for carrying multiple people very comfortably, or for folding the backseat down and carrying groceries or personal effects that should not be exposed to the elements.
Cons
The hardest thing to get used to about the Avalanche was the size of it. As nice as it was to have such a big truck, it was very hard to park in standard-to-small-size parking spaces without going over the front line or hanging out the back into the driving area. It was too long to fit in my garage. Gas mileage was decent for its size, but really expensive overall.

The Young Explores are at it again. This time they traveled to California. They worked together to solve fix problems. This book has taught my daughter different landmarks within California and even asked me to pull up more pictures online. She likes the idea of going where they went. The book shows that so much can be accomplish by working together no matter where you are from and I think she understood that. This car/truck is not a normal car. It's a car but yet a truck at the same time. There are not many on the road and but whenever it is around you notice it. I love the fact that it have the same amount of space as a Tahoe but have the trunk space of a pick up. It have all the luxury that you would expect and drives like a dream.
