Beautiful, Boxy, and Bold
I would much rather have a truck than car, and older is better. I like how boxy and quaint it is. The engine still purrs, but the gas pedal is a little hard to press down on. It runs great, though I put a lot of work into it. I also repainted it myself to almost the exact red it was before, rust made me have no choice. But now it looks great and sounds great. The second gas tank is awesome especially living in the sticks. The transmission seems to be going, but otherwise good. I've had to replace the radiator, and it seems to guzzle oil. But I wouldn't ask for any other vehicle, my truck is my baby! The tires are brand new, and so are all the brakes. I need to rip out the interior, there are a couple holes, but I would like to wait until I find the right year in exceptional condition. The radio works but not the clock, I'm not too worried about the clock right now though. I hope one day someone can appreciate my truck just the way I do, especially after all the hard work I put into it. I have a tool box for emergency anything and I like to use the bed to look up into the sky at night.

I love Ford Trucks!
I love Fords, especially Ford Trucks. I think that Fords are built tougher and to last. I have driven over 17,000 miles on it and only fixed a few things like brakes, etc... It performs well. It drives well and it is sturdy. It is definitely practical. It is a straight 6, special made. I can move a lot of stuff in the bed and have helped friends move things many times. I love all the room the bed gives.

A Great Truck
I bought a 1993 Ford F-150 back in 2000 after needing a new vehicle. Since, at the time of purchase, I was currently in the construction trade and working outside a lot, I decided to look for a truck. I figured (correctly!) that I could haul more supplies and materials than my old 1970 VW campervan that I had converted to a work vehicle. The Ford F-150 is a beefy beast of a gas hog but, boy howdy, does is go! It used to go fast and hard. Oh, I still have the truck and am currently driving it until it dies. It is at 206,000 right now and some stuff is falling off of it, but it is still going! Oh, here's a quick tip! If you play electric guitar, an electric guitar will fit behind the bench seat if it's in a gig bag!
