Third Ford truck that I've owned. This one is like the others have been: reliable, dependable and relatively low-cost to maintain. Purchased used with 110k miles and no unusual maintenance three years and 35k miles later. Definitely will buy another.
Story
Drove from Montana to Virginia straight through when moving in the middle of winter!
Pros
Looks sharp, good gas mileage (for a V8 truck), handles well in inclement weather and low maintenance costs. The engine is very strong.
Cons
Heater core issues require pulling the dash apart - some garages won't do this kind of work.

I have owned my truck for 14 of her 19 years. Yes, it's a her. When I bought her in 2003, she had 73,000 miles on her. Now? Now she's pushing 300k hard driven miles. She has gone cross-country and back (coast to cost) three times, twice pulling a loaded trailer. She has never once left me stranded, for any reason. She has gone off road without a problem, through creeks and rivers, and up some of the highest altitudes in the USA and never lost power or torque. She has been driven through hurricane force winds, tornado weather, in the ice-cold snow storms in the mountains and in the blazing hot deserts with 80mph sand storms. She has withstood it all and still purrs like a kitten. My husband often jokes that I love her more than I love him. No, I've just loved her longer ;) In all seriou... (more)
Story
I don't know if I can pick just one memorable time in this truck. As sappy as it is, this truck is the greatest extension of myself. Yes, I know it's a truck, but it has been reliable when humans sometimes weren't. It has never let me down. A lot of my greatest memories are from the driver seat of that old pickup. From my son's baby years to his now teenage lessons. From playing in the mud in ... (more)
Pros
The power and torque of this truck is amazing. Despite what I've put her through, she has never lost compression and always fed it straight to the wheels. At one time, she was misfiring on a spark plug and still never quit. There has been nothing I couldn't put this truck through that it hasn't risen to the challenge and surpassed many expectations.
Cons
The only con I have about this truck is that you have to completely dismantle the dash to get to the heater core.
