This Ford F-150 is one of the best trucks I've owned over the years. The reliability is one of the biggest qualities that has kept me from looking into buying another truck. I know that even if its cold and snowing I can go out to my truck and it will start and get me where I need to go safely. I have confidently trudged through a foot of snow heading to my truck and was able to drive through with the great 4x4 capabilities it has. I have become the go to person with my friends when it comes to moving day because they know my truck will always be ready and can handle even the toughest loads. A good example recently it was a brand new full size refrigerator, even with the age of my truck it handled the move with ease. I also love the tough look with the body style from the big front gri... (more)
Story
We went to a Nascar race a few years back and we had to seek shelter in the cab because the heat was too much that day, We ended up spending the day leading up to time for the race with the A/C blasting and the radio keeping us entertained as well as we had a great view for people watching. The interior is roomy enough that we were comfortable the whole time.
Pros
The interior still has a modern look even without the bells and whistles seen in the newer vehicles. I love the towing capabilities can easily hook up a trailer full of hay to take out to the field to feed the horses.
Cons
The odometer does not always light up, I wish they would have stayed with the older style instead of digital as it does create an issue when you are trying to get an inspection for tags randomly that is the time it does not light up.

Last summer I moved cross country. I looked for a deal on a U haul, and the cheapest option I found was over 4000 dollars! For that amount of money I decided I could just buy a used pickup. I've had my F150 for 8 months now, and it was the smartest purchase I've ever made. It has a full size bed, great for furniture. It has a Triton V8 that provided more than enough power to tow my other car behind it over three different mountain ranges. The best part is that once I arrived, I didn't have to return the truck to a rental place, I got to keep it. Now I have a truck that is great as a daily driver as well as hauling whatever I need whenever I need to haul it. Next time you are moving, and a rental truck company wants to charge you an arm and a leg, just spend the money on a used F150. Yo... (more)
Story
Having a truck can be very helpful I once pulled a stuck SUV out of a muddy shoulder. A crossover SUV is not the same thing as a good old fashioned pickup truck with a tow rope. You will never feel more American than when you are driving your pickup truck.
Pros
The truck has about 150000 miles on it and still drives like a champ. It has enough power to tackle just about anything I throw at it (it towed everything I own and my other car across the US.) The interior was well maintained and Ford is known for simple yet durable truck interiors and my truck is no different. Even after all I've done, the alignment on it is still so good I could take my hands off the wheel and drive in a straight line for a long, long, while.
Cons
The only problem I have with this truck is now all my friends want help moving. It isn't the best on gas (gets 18/why 14/city) but still worth it.
