I love this truck.
I have owned several trucks in the past, but my 2012 Ford F150 is one of the nicest I have ever had. When I purchased it, I added a few accessories to it that make it even nicer. I added a tonnoeau cover to the bed, vent visors to all four doors and simulated chrome to the sides, mirrors and door handles. The truck has a six-cylinder engine, so it gets about 23 miles per gallon on the road and has ample power for anything I need to do. F150 have been the top-selling vehicle for over 25 years, and I think they will continue to be. When I purchased mine used, it had new tires, so I have not had to do any maintenance of any kind since I bought it other than routine oil changes. My wife loves the vehicle because the four full-size doors make it easy to get in and out, and the back seat has more room than any other vehicle we've ever owned. She wants me to drive it when we go on trips because it rides so smoothly. The inside has cloth interior, so it is very comfortable and is neither excessively hot or cold to the touch. The dash has bright and easy-to-read gauges and makes it easy to read from the driver's position. Mine has Ford-installed running boards that greatly assist getting in and out of the truck for driver and passengers. One of the best things about the F150 is that it holds its resale value better than any other truck on the road. I am very pleased with mine.

Best Truck Ever
The number of options and configurations offered is fantastic. It drives like a luxury sedan, stops smoothly (on a dime) yet accelerates like a muscle car! This truck is gorgeous yet tough. It makes the perfect family vehicle, work truck, or just about any other occasion.

Overpriced Ford F 1-50.
My 2012 Ford F-150 was a replacement for my 2005 Ford F-150. This 2012 has the Lariat package. This is a beautiful truck. The extra's that the Lariat offers is a real treat compared to the standard F-150 without all of the extras. The 2012 truck is very comfortable and attractive outside and inside. They have added some extra cab room in the 2012 that comes in so handy. I think though, that the quality is a lot less than on the older models. It seems like over time it will not hold up as well as with older models. It is having some front end trouble and it really hasn't spent much time off-road. I like a truck that can do a lot of off-road riding and still be in great shape for everyday commuting. The tailgate is so heavy but yet the tail gate latch is so junky. It flexes on the handle when you try to open the tailgate. Then, the tailgate won't open most of the time. I think that the high sides on the body are way too high. Not to be rude, but you get hung up trying to get into the body. The window switch on the drivers side door is acting up, this has been an ongoing problem with Ford. I am disgusted that they have not been able to figure this problem out by now. I also think I detect a motor tick which is not impressive at 75,000 also, the transmission seems to be shifting weird. My conclusion is, that Ford is way over pricing this vehicle it is not even close to the truck of the older models like the 2005.
