Over all a great truck
I have had very few problems with my truck that is now getting a bit older. Almost all of the repairs that have been made to the truck has been caused by myself.

ItÕs a well-built truck
It has held together well over the years. Some parts have needed to be replaced because of its age, but IÕve never had anything break on it because it was cheap or poorly made. I can tell itÕs held together tightly. Parts donÕt rattle loose on it. ItÕs solid and dependable. ItÕs able to move heavy material for long distances. IÕve used it to move a full load of old cedar siding from New York to Tennessee. ItÕs made at least two round trips between New York and Tennessee every year for the past ten years. The longevity of this truck is excellent. I love that I have the freedom to move so many things. I often use it to move three layers of scaffolding to work sites. I had to get the full-sized bed for this. The scaffolding wouldnÕt fit in anything smaller. When I go kayaking, itÕs easy to throw the boats in the back and go. It also has quality speakers and a good sound system, which comes in handy on long car rides. I like that it has a senor on the passenger side so if my dog or a child is there the air bag wonÕt deploy. The four-wheel drive is a game changer for driving in the mud and the snow. When I drive it, I like that it sits high on the road, it makes me feel confident and powerful.

I will always own a Ford 150
I have owned Ford F-150's since my early 20's and I'm 50 now. The one I'm currently driving is the truck I dreamed of for years. I waited until I could pay cash. I didn't want a large monthly payment to take away from my enjoyment of the truck. So, every time I start up my big, black, and beautiful Ford F-150 Lariat, I feel nothing but joy. The sound of the 5.4 liter, 8 cylinder engine never gets old. It’s a strong sound, a big sound. But is also has a smoothness to it—a refinement. A sound that says I am driving a strong and tough, but refined piece of equipment. It’s what they call a “Crew Cab.” Which means it has four full doors, and is huuuge inside—more room than most cars. And part of my “dream” when saving for this truck was that it would have all the bells and whistles. That’s what I saved for, and that’s what I got. Power windows and locks. Beautiful tan-leather seats. Even the window in the back that looks out to the bed is powered. It has running boards, a hydraulic bed cover, and big (but not too big) beefy tires that compliment the stature and status of a Ford F150. Its ride is "smooth as a Cadillac," but has a payload that could support any job on any site. In fact, I would be proud to drive up to any job site with this truck, and then after a good wash would be just as proud to hand my keys to a valet at the fanciest of restaurants. My Ford 150 was worth the money, and worth the wait!
