Used 1997 Ford F-150 for Sale

This vehicle is one of my favorite I have owned. This truck is one of the most sturdy I have driven. It was previously owned by a farmer, therefore has a lot of rust, and there are rattling noises as well as other odd sounds. However, the electronics and basic mechanical components are still the originals and have held up well over the decades. This truck has a very smooth ride. The transmission is strong and makes shifting and driving a pleasure.

I like how large the cab was especially for a big guy like myself. I also enjoyed it being a 4x4 when there was a lot of snow out. My only dislike was that the seats were not spray washable with a water hose so that after work I could just hose the whole thing out. It has a high mpg but it's an eight cylinder so it's kind of understandable. The truck performed very well with large loads in the back of it, unless it was a very steep hill. The backseat of the truck was small but big enough for my children since they are young. I could see it being a space issue once they are older, but since its my work truck, I think it will be ok. I wish the 4x4 was push button, but considering its an older truck, it is understandable. For what I paid for this vehicle and the amount of abuse I have inflicted on it, this truck has done extremely well and still runs great to this day. I have over 180,000 miles on it, and it is still going strong. All I have ever had to do is keep up on its maintenance and oil changes. Besides that I have had to replace the alternator and battery. This truck is a great work truck and handles the job of moving and pulling a trailer very well. The quality of the vehicle has changed my outlook on Ford as a company in general. I used to only drive or want a Chevy or Toyota Truck, now I can see myself in the future possibly getting a newer Ford.
