2005 Ford Escape - A pretty good vehicle

I have owned this vehicle for about 7 years now. It was purchased used with about 30,000 miles on it. It has been pretty reliable and is easy to get around town and drive on highway trips with. My car is at about 160,000 miles with still the original engine and transmission.
Story
I was about to purchase a queen sized bed frame and carry it in my vehicle with almost no wiggle room. In it. I remember laughing as I could carry it safely inside of my vehicle towards my home with almost no room to spare. It is quite spacious on the inside for carrying most boxes or big items but struggles with long items.
Pros
There is room for storage in the vehicle as well as room for 4 passengers. It isn't a long vehicle so it is still easy to get around town and fit into many places. The mileage is okay in city but the gas tank is a little small.
Cons
The worst part of the vehicle was this particular model was made with a factory defect. At around 100,000 the computer dies causing half of the cylinders in the engine to fail. This results in pure gasoline being spewed down the line. When this happened to my vehicle I eventually had to replace all catalytic converters as well as buy a new computer for it. Since this it has not had another major issue. Besides that the vehicle has had nothing really wrong with it.

The escape is a great vehicle that I have very little complaints about. It as a solid frame and runs well. My personal escape as 190,000 miles on it and outside of normal maintenance I have had to replace the alternator. For being a compact SUV the gas mileage is also good at about 24 - 26 miles per gallon. The air conditioner works great and only have had to recharge it one time.
Story
The most memorable thing is being hit broad side by a deer on the way home from the city.
Pros
The gas mileage is great. The few failures as been a huge plus in my opinion. The escape handles great on the road. The cost of keeping the escape in working order if very minimal. If you have a fixed income this is a great choose. The escape as plenty of room for friends family and cargo.
Cons
The driver and passenger windows have clips in them that break very easily this causes the windows to only roll down half way. The other thing is the factory radio sucks the cd player jams on a regular basis, but this can be easily fixed with an after market. The back wind shield wiper as never worked right on my escape. The escape should come with a removable third bench seat.
